Telugu cinema Magadheera won 2 National Awards and both of them for their technical competence. Magadheera won 2 National Awards for Special effects film and Kamal Kannan won Best Special Effects category for Magadheera.
Shiva Shankar won Best Choreographer award National Award for Dheera Dheera song from Magadheera.
The esteemed 57th National Awards for year 2009 were announced yesterday in New Delhi, and it is really inspiring and great to see a Telugu movie getting National awards.
Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor Award for “Paa" and 3 Idiots" won the Best Popular Movie. Malayalam movie “Kutty Srank" bagged 5 awards at the 57th National Awards.
