Telugu cinema actresses Saira Banu and Jyothi were released on bail. Saira Banu and Jyothi, who were caught by the police in connection with prostitution, were released on bail later after due assurance from their family members.
Telugu movie industry seems to be having a torrid time these days. First, police officials discovered the Tollywood drug case against Ravi Teja brothers Raghu Babu and Bharat, and now it is Saira Banu and Jyothi in brothel case. In both cases, police have caught the offenders red-handed.
Saira Bhanu and Jyothi were involved in prostitution case in Ameerpet – Kundanbagh in Hyderabad. And police have raided the house after the information on Saturday night – August 21st and Saira Bhanu and Jyothi were sent to remand the whole Sunday. However, this case was detailed to the media only today. Along with Saira Banu and Jyothi, police also arrested 9 other women from other countries.
For Saira Bhanu, her name was also featuring in the phone list of the Uganda Nationalist Victor phone book in connection with drugs. And for Jyothi, she married an NRI few years back and quit films. But she came back into Telugu movies recently and was now caught red- handed.
