Chiranjeevi Blood Bank Closing? Govt. Probes

Is Chiranjeevi Blood Bank about to close? The six member expert committee appointed by AP State Government it seems has advised to close all private blood banks, which also includes Chiranjeevi Blood Bank (CCT).

The six member committee set up by AP State Aids Control Society (APSACS) probes the allegations made on Chiranjeevi Blood bank in Hyderabad pertaining to financial and societal irregularities.

The committee is currently investigating the books of accounts of Chiranjeevi Blood Bank and would submit a report shortly. We have to say that Chiranjeevi Blood Bank is surely going through tough times ever since Jeevitha Rajasekhar has been making serious allegations.

This committee was set up after Allu Aravind openly sought an inquiry after Jeevitha and Rajasekhar accusing Chiranjeevi Blood Bank for misusing blood

It sounds as if few private blood banks are acquiring blood free of cost and selling them for abnormal cost. Further, the blood preservation standards are also being questioned.

The six member committee would submit report on Chiranjeevi Blood Bank on September 20.
